Dr. Jesse completed her internship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School (Austin) Program in 2008 and her residency in Radiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Program in 2012. Caruso is the Chief Medical Examiner and Forensic Pathologist for the City and County of Denver. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine after completing his undergraduate degree in Biology at the same institution. Dr. Caruso served in the United States Navy for 30 years, during which he practiced shipboard medicine, diving and submarine medicine, aviation medicine, hospital-based pathology, and forensic pathology. Dr. Caruso has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific papers and book chapters. In his current role as Chief Medical Examiner and Coroner for Denver, Colorado, he oversees a medical examiner office for a large city and serves as faculty for local medical schools.
