He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Loyola University of Chicago School of Dentistry. Subsequently, Dr. McDowell completed a five-year combined residency and fellowship program at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. In addition, he holds a Master of Science degree from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Texas. His master's thesis compared the radiographic features of facial fractures in female victims of domestic violence to those in women involved in motor vehicle accidents. |
